The borough of Knowsley was created in 1974, inheriting the rich and vibrant heritage of Cronton, Halewood, Huyton-with-Roby, Kirkby, Knowsley Village, Prescot, Tarbock and Whiston. Knowsley Hall, sits in the centre of the borough covering an area of approximately 2500 acres of rolling parkland.
As well as a very interesting past, Knowsley maintains a modern approach to all areas affecting the people who live and work in the borough with arts, culture and heritage playing a vital part in this. If it’s a trip to a park, a leisure centre, a library, a museum or an art gallery you are seeking, then Knowsley is the place to visit.
